In a large-scale test for fixed Internet connections, Unitymedia was able to finish as the best provider ahead of the competition, nPerf thus confirming the performance of the previously published Connect test. Unitymedia not only achieves the highest download speed on average, but also the lowest latency.

Not only is first place a surprise, because second place does not necessarily follow the company one might have expected there.

For the third time in a row, nPerf publishes its annual landline barometer in Germany. The study is based on all tests carried out by German internet users during the first half of 2019 on the nPerf.com website and partner sites.

German Internet users performed 1.4 million usable tests.

With 117,495 points, Unitymedia is at the top of our ranking list, with a comfortable lead over Vodafone, the new No. 2! The Unitymedia score is mainly due to very good performance in terms of download speed and latency.

So Unitymedia is doing very well in the first half of 2019. Perhaps a good reason to switch providers would be Unitymedia available nationwide.
