Xiaomi launches the calendar application in the Google Play Store

Xiaomi presents the next Android application on the Google Play Store, which actually belongs to the MIUI system. So you are definitely following Google’s lead.

While Huawei has to get more and more from the Play Store, manufacturers like Xiaomi are increasingly entering the Google universe. Xiaomi publishes its own applications on the Play Store at irregular intervals to be able to offer them there. At least partially for devices from other manufacturers. Now Xiaomi’s calendar app is new to the Play Store, offering a very reasonable range of functions and still free.

The Xiaomi app is naturally also compatible with other calendars, so you can, for example, sync your Google calendar with the app. For female users, there is also a menstruation calendar, otherwise the usual functions of a smartphone calendar. So far, Xiaomi has not shown advertising in the calendar application.

Initially, Xiaomi only offers this application for MIUI devices, which are therefore only smartphones from Xiaomi, Poco and Redmi. In the long term, I expect a release for devices from other manufacturers, as is the case with other applications.
