Xiaomi Mi 10, Samsung Galaxy S20 and Huawei P40: it's hot before spring

This time around, Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi are fighting for the top of the high-end smartphones, and all three smartphone makers will soon introduce their flagships.

After the turn of the year things get hot here, because the big manufacturers are gradually giving each other control. There are hardly any new smartphones at CES right at the start of the new year, but February is getting closer and closer, which is extremely important. Samsung, Xiaomi and Huawei are not only fighting for the top spots in the long-term smartphone sales rankings, but also for increased attention from readers, fans, and customers as of February.

First, Samsung announced its date, the new Galaxy S20 series should take place on February 11, 2020 in a separate event. The first big bang of the year. Or is it not? Xiaomi, from which we expect the new Mi 10 series, could now slip in the middle. Xiaomi wants to talk about its new smartphones after the Chinese New Year, so a surprising presentation can be expected from January 26, 2020.

Xiaomi, Samsung and Huawei are preparing fireworks for smartphones

Finally, Huawei is also involved, although currently with slightly blunt weapons in the software area. Also, there are no Google services for new devices, which in all probability also affects the P40 series. At least Huawei has already announced an event, on February 23, 2020 they want to show innovations in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress. It is not yet known if the P40 series is already there.

However, it is also clear this year that there will be an early spring around the new high-end smartphones. This year is exciting because Samsung has to catch up with Huawei and is planning major updates. Xiaomi is getting closer to the competition again and little by little it is reaching its level. In any case, the battle for the top is different today, as manufacturers like Sony, HTC and LG couldn’t keep up.
