YouTube is now giving its own music app a web app that is cross-platform compatible, more precisely a progressive web app. These types of applications, which are managed through the browser, behave in a similar way to applications installed natively for the respective operating system. They can be used as real applications, so they are also compatible with the multimedia keys of your keyboards. YouTube Music is now receiving a PWA as well.

As soon as this new web application is available to you, a button will be displayed in Chrome in the address bar with which you can install the application for YouTube Music on your device. You can find it on the home screen of your Windows, macOS or Chrome operating system, for example. Something quite practical.
